Roger Hoover

Roger L. Hoover, 66, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly Monday morning in his home. Roger was born November 17, 1941, in Lima, OH, to the late Joseph W., Sr. and Arlene Frances Gullette Hoover. On January 10, 1978, he married the former Rosemary Ann Colter, who survives. Also surviving are his son, Morgan Hoover, of Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law Joseph W., Jr. (Sue) Hoover, Lima, OH; Eugene (Gloria) Hoover, Rogers, AR; step-sister Phyllis Dye, Lima; and a step-brother Robert Badertscher, Wapakoneta, OH. He was predeceased by his parents and his step-mother, Ruth E. Hoover. Military graveside services for the Navy Vietnam Veteran will be held at 10:00am Friday in the National Cemetery, Dayton, OH, under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
