Roger Beaver

Roger A. Beaver, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on July 13, 2023, at the age of 86.  He was born July 7, 1937, in Gallia County, OH, to the late Charles I. and Iva F. (Sanders) Beaver.   He was a lifetime carpenter and loved helping people in need.   Surviving are his children: Lynn (Jerry) Chester, of Chillicothe, Doug Beaver, of Kingston, Arlene (Rodney) Willis, of Cabins, WV; grandchildren: Sherry (Charles) Henneberger, Jody Chester (Jeremy Adkinson), David (Tristan) Long, Laura Sponaugle (Brian Hoffman), Britney Frasure; great-grandchildren: Hunter Henneberger, Harmony Henneberger, McKayla Long, Ian Long, Isaiah Sponaugle, Briar Hoffman, and Avionna Martin; a brother Keith Beaver; 4 sisters: Charlene Slone, Barbara Randolph, Kaye (Dave) Richards, all of Corpus Christi, TX, and Becky (Tom) Colburn, Bristow, VA; and many other family and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Ronnie I. Beaver.   The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Legacy Nursing and ProMedica Hospice for providing excellent care to our Dad at his end of life.   Graveside services will be held at 1pm Thursday, July 20, in Greenlawn Cemetery, with Pastor Carol Carper officiating.
