Rocco F. Straziuso Rocco F. Straziuso, 73, of Chillicothe, died 5:25 pm Saturday, November 17, 2007, in Westmoreland Place Nursing Home, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Tuesday at Haller's, where an Eagle's Memorial Service will be held at 7:45 pm. He was born May 6, 1934 in Sandusky, OH to Michael and Dominica Missioni Straziuso. On February 14, 1988 he married Loueda Holbert Bolte, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Marie and Jacqueline Straziuso, of Miami, FL, Rocco Jr., of Orlando, FL, and Tony Straziuso, of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Zachary, Ariel, Tim and Annette; step-children, Debra Kimbler, of Urbana, OH, Donna (Thomas) Young, of Columbus, OH, and Steve (Karen) Bolte, of Urbana, OH; his step-grandchildren, Amanda Goldsmith, Valerie Webb, Jillian and Katlyn Young, and Michael Bolte; step-great-grandchildren, Madison, Kylie, Harley, and Mitchell; brothers and sister, Michael (Elizabeth), Anthony (Janet), Dan (Jane), and John (Pam) Straziuso and Joanne (Bob) Michel; several aunts; uncles; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, John Michael. Mr. Straziuso retired from the Dietetics Department of the VA Medical Center. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, a member of the AMVETS Post 4, VFW Post 62, American Legion, Post 62, Ross Co. Senior Citizens, and a very active member of the Eagles Aerie 600, where he served as secretary for 10 years. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ross Co.
