Robert Young

Robert L. Young II, 56, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly on April 2, 2021, at 12:17am at his residence.   He was born December 31, 1964, in Circleville, OH to the late Robert L. and Alice May (Robinson) Young.   Surviving are his son Justin Young and fiancée Lindsey Poling, of Frankfort; daughter Kaitlyn Young (Torrance Nesbitt), Chillicothe; his grandchildren, whom he adored: Taylor Hutton Young, Jaylen Hixon Young, Madelyn Young, and Julian Nesbitt; his sister Jacqueline Young, of Lewis Center, OH; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by the one true love of his life and mother of his children, Francie J. Julian Young.   Bobby was a graduate of Unioto High School, Class of 1983 and was a retired corrections officer with RCI. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, being outdoors, camping with family, watching his grandchildren play sports, as well as coaching youth sports. He loved spending time with his children but above all, he loved being a grandpa.   His funeral service will be held at 12:00pm Friday April 9, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Brett Fisher officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Facial coverings and social distancing required for attendance.
