Robert R. Woods Jr., 62, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly February 23, 2021, at his home.
He was born May 12, 1958 in Mt. Clemens, MI to the late Robert R. and Bonnie M. Rivard Woods Sr. Survivors include three children, Lisa (Ricardo) Ubongen, Robert (Stephanie) Woods III, and Angela (Roger) Conley; grandchildren, Heaven and Diana Ubongen, Olivia Lapetina, Autumn, Braxton, Savannah, and Madison Woods, and Kelsie, Richard III, Hunter Berry; great-grandchildren, Richard Berry IV and Farrah Berry; sisters, Michelle (Mike) Richter, Shelly (Dusty) Cox, and Kim (Charles) Ferguson; and special friends, Tonya Knox, Richard Wardell, and his dog Marley.
Bobby was a US Navy veteran and retired from the Ross Co. Sheriff's Department. He was a member of the Eagles, VFW, and AMVETS.
A private visitation will be held for the family at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Public military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will be held 1:30 pm Thursday in Greenlawn Cemetery's Soldiers Square. Masks and social distancing are required.
