Robert Wilcox

Robert A. Wilcox, 75, of Chillicothe, died at 4:52am Wednesday August 17, 2005, in Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1930, in Rutland, OH, to the late Francis Warren and Adria (Phillips) Wilcox. On July 4, 1951, he married the former Lanada M. Thomas, who survives. Also surviving are his daughter and son-in-law Sherry L. (John) Vest, of Chillicothe; his son Jonathan Wilcox and his partner Dayton Duvall, of Gahanna; 2 brothers; several nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law Adda Irene Miller, Point Pleasant, WV; and his special companion "Brewster." He was predeceased by a brother. Bob worked as a Supervisor in the maintenance department at the Mead Paper Co. for over 40 years. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was member of the Adelphi Lodge No. 527 F & AM, Scottish Rite, the Aladdin Shrine, and Order of the Eastern Star #419. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, August 20, at Haller Funeral Home. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross County Veteran Honor Guard will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home, where a Masonic Funeral will be held at 8:00pm.
