In addition to his mother Margaret and wife Judy, Bruce is survived by three children, Heather Ann (James Niehaus) Wellington, of Chillicothe, Bronwen Suzanne (Matthew) Woolley, of East Liverpool, and Derek Bruce (Claire) Wellington, of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren, Grayson, Hayden, Brennan, Kathryn, Austin, Haylee, Chloe, and McKenna; two brothers, Jeffrey Hayes (Patty) Wellington, of Clarksville,TN, and Leo Scott (Kelly) Wellington, of Courtland, OH; his mother and father-in-law, James and Anna Mae McPeak; a sister-in-law, Edrie Wellington, of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter-in-law, Bobbie Lynn Penwell, of Chillicothe; and also his canine best friends, Libby and Wiggles. He retired from the Atomic Plant in Pike County three years ago after working as a control systems engineer. Some of his favorite hobbies included smoking a pipe and playing on the computer; he loved reading, and was an avid Steelers fan. But most of all, Bruce was known as a loving father and husband who put his family above everything else. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Haller Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends may call from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday.
