Robert Stafford

Robert L. Stafford Robert L. Stafford, 75, of Chillicothe, died October 15, 2006 in the Ohio Veteran's Home, Georgetown, OH, following an extended illness. He was born August 4, 1931 in Portsmouth, OH to George L. Stafford and Coreine G. Vance. On April 29, 1957 he married Nona Shaffer, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, John Stafford and Robert Stafford Jr; two brothers, David and Donald Stafford; a sister, Belva McCandlish; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and his parents. Mr. Stafford was an Air Force Korean Conflict veteran and had retired from the Mead Paper Corporation. There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Haller Funeral Home.
