Robert Kenneth "Bob" Ogan, 81, of Chillicothe, died February 25, 2018 at Adena Pike Medical Center, while in hospice care following a brief illness. He was born March 9, 1936, to the late Arthur Ogan and Ruth (Holdren) Ogan Smallridge. On March 16, 1963, he married Carolyn "Kay" McCorkle, who preceded him in death in January 18, 2008. Surviving are his three children: Danielle (Steve) Stutz, of Waverly; Brandi (Sam) Pence, of Eaton, OH; Shane (Michele) Ogan, of Chillicothe; 7 grandchildren: Makayla and Braydon Stutz, Waverly; Sam, Tyler, Lauren and Ethan Pence, Eaton; and Seth Ogan, Chillicothe; sisters Joyce Chaney, Betty (Ray) Horsley, Chillicothe, Judy Steele, Kingston; half-sister Connie Stevens, Londonderry; half-brother Tommy (Becky) Smallridge, Chillicothe; sister-in-law Sondra Ogan, Richmond Dale; several nieces, nephews and in-laws; and special friends Chuck and Sindy Sams, Chillicothe. In addition to his wife and parents, Bob was predeceased by a grandson Lucas Ogan; brother Jerry Ogan; a baby sister Janet Ogan; step-father Harold Smallridge; brothers-in-law Tom Chaney, Cloyd Steele and Gary Stephens; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ira and Opal McCorkle. Bob worked at the Mead Paper Co. until 1996. He also worked for himself in heating and cooling for many years. Bob was an avid bowler, loved NASCAR and playing the lottery. He loved his wife, his children and his grandchildren. Bob will be greatly missed.
