Robert Nusser

Robert T. Nusser, 68 and Paulette A. Nusser, 64, of Millfield, OH, formerly of Chillicothe, died Monday, March 26, 2012, at their home. Robert was born March 21, 1944 in Lancaster to the late Donald and Leoma Stevenson Nusser. Paulette was born April 21, 1947 in Chillicothe to the late Paul and Irene Mercer Burns. They married on October 23, 1971. They are survived by a daughter, Lori Wheeler, of Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Jeffrey R. and Wyatt T. A. Wheeler, both of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. Robert is also survived by a sister, Ann (Harold) Newton, of Chillicothe; a brother, Richard (Regina) Nusser, of Lancaster; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Nusser, of Lancaster. Paulette is also survived by a brother, Chester (Sandy) Burns, of Chillicothe and a special cousin, Becky Nichols. Robert was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Steven Nusser. Robert Nusser was a former employee of Container Corporation of America and a US Navy Veteran. He was a life member of the VFW Post 3477 and a neighborhood watch captain. Paulette was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and embroidery. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard, will be held 11:00 am Saturday, in Soldier Square of Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe.
