Robert Montgomery

Robert N. Montgomery, 74, of Chillicothe, died 10:30 pm, Monday, October 21, 2013, at his residence, following a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born February 3, 1939 in Chillicothe to the late Robert H. and Louise Bandy Montgomery. On August 25, 1994 he married Jane E. Irvin, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Anita J. (Benjamin) Anderson, Peapack , NJ and Robbi L. (Trish Morris) Montgomery, Centennial, CO; step-children, Cindy McNeely, Cheri (Chip) Maxwell, and Cathy Dalton; grandchildren, Robert and Sarah Anderson; step-grandchildren, Amanda Bost, Chelsea and Kirk Maxwell, and Michael Dalton; a step-great grandson, Dylan Bost; sisters, Ramona (Jim) McKeever, Chillicothe, Carolyn (John) Boyer, Waverly, and Evelyn (Mark) Means, Iowa. Bob retired from United Parcel Service in 1994. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 600.
