Robert Martin

Robert E. Martin, 65, of Chillicothe, died at 11:17pm December 30, 2021, at his residence following a sudden illness.   He was born August 31, 1956, in Chillicothe to the late Paul and Virginia (Harrell) Martin.  On November 2, 1999, he married the former Theresa Ann Althouse, who survives.   In addition to his wife Terri, he is survived by his brother Ronny Lee Martin; an aunt Patty Ann Martin; and his beloved canine companion "Katie."  He was predeceased by his parents; his paternal grandparents Charles and Blanche Martin; and his maternal grandparents Wallace and Ella Harrell.   Bob was a retired truck driver with UPS.  He was a graduate of Unioto High School, Class of 1974, and a member of the American Legion, Post 62.  In 1972, he won the Ohio State Championship in bowling.   At his request, there will be no services.  Cremation services are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
