Robert W. Litter, 85, of Chillicothe, died 12:54 am, Thursday, February 1, 2018, at his home.   He was born August 27, 1932 in Chillicothe to the late Robert E. and Ethel Brown Litter. Survived by his loving, dedicated wife and partner in life, Linda Diane Beard, who committed the past years to making certain Bob had the best care possible. He has been happy and healthy as a result. Also surviving are his children, Kathleen (Ricky) Ray, Elizabeth (Greg) Corzine, Auna (Bradley) Roseberry, Matt (Beth) Litter, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Matthew Roseberry, Dublin, OH, Sarah Roseberry, Boiling Springs, SC, Winston J (Abby) Corzine, Claire Corzine, Maris Corzine, Audrey Corzine, and Maxwell Litter, all of Chillicothe, and Georgianna (Ted) Tickle, of Eagle River, AK; and dear friend Samuel Guagenti, of Lima, OH.   Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was loyal to family, providing without fail for his children throughout every stage of their lives, including advanced education and extensive travel experiences, as well as opportunities to learn business operations first hand. He was a business owner, CEO, entrepreneur, leader, mentor, teacher of ethical business practices, and he respected his "family" of employees.   Bob was a graduate of the Chillicothe High School Class of 1950, and a 1954 graduate of Ohio University. He served in the US Army in the German Occupation Forces 1954-1956, and the Army Reserves until 1966. He was a member and one-time President of the Ohio Wholesale Beer and Wine Association, the Ohio Propane Gas Association, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Ohio University Foundation Board, the Advisory Council to the College of Business at Ohio University, Chillicothe/Ross Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year, the Phoenix Fire Co., Rotary, Pickaway Lodge 23 F & AM, the York and Scottish Rite bodies, Aladdin Shriners, the Pickaway Co. Shrine Club, and the Aladdin Shriners Drum and Bugle Corp.   The family would like to offer a special thank you for all of Bob's caregivers from Heartland Hospice, Brenda Shelhart, Paula Borland, Whitney Beard, Larry Brown, Tom Spetnagel, Bryce Leachman, Jim Parks, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Jim and Bonnie Grove, Rosie Zedalis, Delma Rouleau.   Bob was a member of St. Mary Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 pm Monday, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at St. Mary Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to one of the following charities, Ross Co. Litter.
