Robert Lallier

Robert L. Lallier, 79, was given his angel wings and joined our Heavenly Father on October 9, 2017. He passed away quietly at the James Intensive Care Unit at Ohio State University from a brief illness. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio to Herbert, Sr. and Ruth (Whetstone) Lallier on March 10, 1938. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1956 and attended Ohio University in Athens. He was married to Barbara Lee McDaniel on October 27, 1962. He retired from the Atomic Plant in Piketon. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara; and two sons, Robert L. Lallier II of California and Stephen E. (Chris) Lallier of Kingston. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Jackie (Anthony) Grace of California, Shannon Lallier of California, Blake Lallier of Kingston, Chase (Christy) Leadingham of Kingston, Lance (Lindley) Leadingham of Chillicothe and 3 great-grandchildren. Robert is also survived by his siblings: June Acton, of Frankfort, Jane (David) Bogard, of Port Charlotte, Florida, Joyce Park, of Chillicothe, Jackie (Don) Lee of Grove City, Rick Lallier of Laurelville, Joe (Jewell) Lallier of Chillicothe, Paul (Helen) Lallier of South Salem, Larry (Tracey) Lallier of Chillicothe and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings; Herbert Lallier, Jr., Ronnie Lallier, Jim Lallier, Jean Well and Joann Reeves. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00pm Saturday, October 14, at St. Mary Church, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 10:30am-12:30pm Saturday at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Flowers accepted and donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o St. Mary Church, 61 S.
