Robert Green

Robert Patrick Green, 91, of Chillicothe, died 6:20 pm, June 27, 2016 at the Mercy Clermont Hospital, Batavia, following an extended illness. He was born March 17, 1925 in New York, NY to the late Isadora Harold and Martha Johanssen Green. On June 24, 1989 he married Marilyn Grumney Green, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Dorothy Green, Boseman, MT, Margaret (Thomas) McGrath, Slingerland, NY, Elizabeth (Edward) Kuharski, Madison, WS, and David (Katherine) Green, Erie, PA; and three grandchildren, Thomas and Robert McGrath, and Allen Green. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold and a grandson, Travis Green. Mr. Green received a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and a master's degree from Miami University. He was a World War II US Army veteran and retired from the Mead Paper Company in 1990. He was active with Alcoholics' Anonymous and the Kiwanis. A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, July 16 at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
