Robert Eyerman

Robert C. Eyerman, 62, of Chillicothe, died 12:25 pm, October 30, 2009, in the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief battle with lung cancer. He was born April 16, 1947 in Columbus, OH to the late Robert J. and Violet C. Baum Eyerman. On December 5, 1984 he married the former Diane J. Hathy, who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Robert C. Eyerman, of Hide-A-Way Hills, OH; Brian L. (Gena) Eyerman, of Logan, OH; a stepson, Matthew R. Whitney, of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Brittany J., Bobby C., Jacob L., and Daniel L. Eyerman, and Coleton Barbee; a sister, Doris Prince, of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Phyllis Meyers; and a brother, Jim Eyerman. Mr. Eyerman served in the National Guard. He was the Regional Director of the Local Bass Federation and was a member of the Local 189 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters union for 43 years. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home, 1661 Western Ave., Chillicothe, Eric Meredith officiating. Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday in the Manchester Cemetery, Manchester, OH. Friends may call 4-7 pm Tuesday at Hallers. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with caregiver expenses.
