Robert Cuckler

Robert O. Cuckler, 78, of Chillicothe, died 11:58am May 27, 2005, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born October 5, 1926, in Alma, OH, to the late Charles "Mac" and Genevieve (Streitenberger) Cuckler. He is survived by his wife Ruth (Wilcox) Cuckler; sons and daughters-in-law Dr. Robert (Susan) Cuckler, of Homestead, FL; and Larry (Mary) Cuckler, Chillicothe; grandchildren: Amanda, Larry, Nathan, and Travis Cuckler, all of Chillicothe; two sisters Gladys (Bert) Curtis and Aleta (Virgil) Howard; all of Chillicothe; a brother Ronald (Joyce) Cuckler, Waverly; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother and two sisters. Bob was a 1944 graduate of Waverly High School. He retired from the Mead Corp. in 1989. He was a WWII Army Veteran, a life member of VFW Post 108, American Legion Post 757, and the Eagles Aerie 600. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor James Cuckler officiating. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Twin Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
