Robert Lee Conrad, 76, of Chillicothe, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at his home, following an extended illness.
He was born March 7, 1948, son of the late Bessie Mae and Ted Carper. On July 17, 2004, he married he beloved wife, Tamara Jo (Hammond) Conrad, who preceded him in death on May 2, 2021.
Surviving are his two step-sons, Michael Mick and Chad Mick; two grandchildren, Tyler Minkos and Mya Mick; his brother, Roger (Kim) Conrad; two sisters, Norma Williams and Patricia Woodard; his best friend, Randall "Rip Saw"; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his two daughters, Clarissa and Lyrisha; and three brothers, Tom, Don, and Dick.
Bob was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army. He went on to work at RCI for many years before retiring in 2004.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kelli Hatfield for all of her love and care over the last several years while Bob has been sick.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Stuckey Cemetery in Sugar Grove, Ohio.
