Robert "Bob" Bush

Robert (Bob) D. Bush, 84, of Chillicothe went to heaven Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 4:46 pm at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born on December 9, 1940, in Ross County to the late Harvey and Matha (Aspel) Bush. On December 17, 1976, he married the love of his life, Jennifer Strausbaugh, who survives.
Surviving are his daughter, Bobbie Sanford, of Chillicothe, granddaughters; Jessica (Austin) Holley, of Chillicothe, Madison Sanford and fiancé Kyle Blair, of Chillicothe and great grandson Lincoln Holley, of Chillicothe Brothers; Larry Bush, of Chillicothe, Jack (Donna) Bush, of Urbana, sister, Judy Ford, of Chillicothe and many extended family and friends, especially, Sophia Johnson, Merissa Ladd and Jon Riddlemoser. He is predeceased by his sister, Bernice Bowman, sister-in-law, Sue Bush, two brothers-in-law, Clint Ford and Elwood Strausbaugh, and beloved dog Yo-Yo.
Bob was a long-time member of the Moose Lodge. He loved bowling and pitching horseshoes, and he enjoyed golfing with his brothers-in-law, Ken and Elwood Strausbaugh. He enjoyed being outdoors, he took pride in his yard work, and he loved camping at the Ross County Fair with his wife. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandpa who loved spending time with his family.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday from 11am to 1pm.
