Robert L. Bost, 83, of Chillicothe, passed from this life at 3:15pm on October 16, 2018, at at Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
He was born January 17, 1935 in Chillicothe to the late Margaret and Sherman Bost.
Surviving are his children, Renee (Tim) Clemmons, Greg (Kelly) Bost, Rocky (Connie) Bost, and Nick (Heather) Bost; his grandchildren, Justin (Michelle) Bost, Joshua Bost, Brandon (Ashley) Bost, Katie Bost, Noah Bost, Lacey (Zack) Ward, Lindsay (Brandon) White, and Travis White; his great-grandchildren, Kali & Jace Ward, Laiyla Bost, Weston White & Brooke White, Madison , Ansleigh & Ethan Bost; his sisters, Marjorie Duffy, Jean Ramsey, Jane McKinnis, and Phyllis (Ray)Mitchell; and a brother, Richard "Man" (Jane) Bost. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Doris Bost, Mary Doughtery, Mabel Spetnagel, Frances "Tubby" Siberell Bost, and his brothers, Milford, Judson, and Harry Bost.
Bob retired from the Mead where he worked as a welder for more than 45 years. He was a member of various local clubs including Amvets 4, VFW 108, and American Legion 62. He was an Exalted Ruler and member of the Elks Lodge 52 for more than 60 years.
A memorial service will be held from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Elks Lodge #52 Main Hall in Chillicothe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Haller Funeral Home in his honor.
