Ricky Wells

Ricky L. Wells, 59, of Chillicothe, died 5:19 pm, August 13, 2014, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born October 25, 1954, in Worthington, OH to the late Oshie and Bertha Balling Wells. On March 1, 2000 he married the former Diane J. Barnett, who survives. Also surviving are his twin daughters, Valerie (Robert) Davis, Forest, OH and Vanessa (Jeff) Zigos, Fairfield, OH; two stepchildren, Cary and Kirk (Andrea) Rinehart, Chillicothe; ten grandchildren, Becky, Bobby, Amber and Andrea Davis, Logan, Kyle and Aiden Zigos, Lucas and Cortney Rinehart and Julius Lee; four brothers, Gary (Tammy), Mike (Patricia), and Jim Wells, and Jim Watson; five sisters, Judy (Kenny) Stephenson, Karen Wells, Mary (Alex) Anderson, Kim Wells and Brenda (Ike) Wintz. Rick was a graduate of Dublin High School and a self employed mason. He was a member of the Sons of AMVETS, and enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles and country music. He especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren and was willing to lend anyone a helping hand. Rick would have wanted everyone to know, "It's been a quite a party." Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 pm Sunday at Haller's.
