Ricky Lee “Rick” Clary, age 67, of Ray, Ohio, passed away at 8:13am, December 8, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.
Rick was a graduate of Southeastern H.S. and Pickaway Ross Vocational School, the class of 1977. Rick took great pride in working for the family business Clary Trucking Inc. and he extended that pride to his customers. Rick was driven by his connection to customers and their families that motivated his need to do his best. He loved his 1977 International Scout Traveler and had plans to restore it when it was new. The Scout is full of memories like the day we bought our first new tv as a couple to the day we brought our new born son Benjamin home from the hospital. Then there was the friends and family times that so many hands was involved in the restoration process of the Scout. Followed by the many car shows where he made new friends and told his stories as he shined as much as the Scout. So many wonderful memories to hold onto!
He was born May 15, 1958 in Ross County, Ohio to Jesse E. Jr. and Patricia A. (Fout) Clary. On July 22, 1978 Rick and Carol married, officiated by Reverend Hatfield in Ross County, Ohio.
Surviving is his wife Carol Emeline and son Benjamin Lee of Ray; his mother Patricia Clary; brother Dan (Jody) Clary; and sister Jackie (Butch) Brammer, all of Richmond Dale and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Jesse Clary Jr.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 13th, at 2:00 pm at Little Mound Cemetery in Richmond Dale, with Pastor Cameron Caseman officiating. His online guestbook is available at www.HallerFuneralHome.com
