Ricky Allen Bennett, 65, of Chillicothe, passed away Saturday evening, July 1, 2023, at his home following an extended illness.
He was born February 17, 1958 in Chillicothe, Ohio, son of the late Henry and Elsie (Gaines) Bennett.
He is survived by his daughter, Yvonne Johnson; two grandchildren, Jackson and Quinton; close family friends, Logan and Isis Johnson; four sisters, Shirley McQuay, Nancy (Delbert) Perry, Marilyn Jones, and Patty (Roger) Jones; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Catherine McWhorter, Betty Bennett, Carol Bennett, and Ronnie Bennett.
Ricky was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army. In his free time, he loved feeding his squirrels, watching NASCAR, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cincinnati Reds.
