Richard Woods

Richard John Woods, 73, of Washington Court House, passed away Monday afternoon, April 30, 2018, at the Fayette Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was born August 12, 1944 in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Pete Theodric and Mary (Hill) Woods. Surviving is his fiancé, Deborah Lynn Cagg, of Washington Court House; four children, Johnny (Ashley) Woods, of Washington Court House, Geraldine Owens, also of Washington Court House, Peter Joseph "PJ" Woods, of Youngstown, and Stella Michelle (Mike) Howard, of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Kaila (Mikey) Rhoades, of Jackson, Cody Woods, of Washington Court House, Ian Ferrell, also of Washington Court House, Tanya Woods, of Chillicothe, Eli Woods of Washington Court House, Tyler Newell, also of Washington Court House, George Theodric (Tessa) Owens, of Waverly, Samantha Owens, of Dayton, Taneshia (Joe) Rhoaden, of South Vienna, Feleshia "Fish" Woods, of Washington Court House, Andrew Woods, of WA, and Ashley Sanford, of Xenia, OH; six great-grandchildren, Brantley, Kinzlee, Cecilia, Trinity, Zander, and Ezra; two brothers, David Woods, and Joe Woods; three sisters, Stella Boler, Catherine Sanford, and Geraldine Butcher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brother Tom Woods and Bill Woods. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral services.
