Richard Warnock

Richard Lee Warnock, 62, of Chillicothe died unexpectedly Friday, February 12, 2016, at his residence. He was born November 5, 1953 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Max and Ethel Barnett Warnock. On February 14, 1987 he married Lois A. Keil, who survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Amber (Harlan) Pewterbaugh, of Denton, TX; three step-children, Scott (Jennifer) McMahan, Hillsboro, Dawn (Bill) Cool, Piketon, and Travis (Tina) McMahan, Peebles; six grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Susie Balzer, of Indiana; and a brother, Joe (Debra) Reiter, of Florida. He was preceded in death by a brother. Mr. Warnock was a horticulturalist, retiring from the Adena Mansion and Gardens and was currently employed in the garden center of Menards. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and motorcycling. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Friends may call 5-7 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
