Richard Smith

Richard E. Smith, 72, of Chillicothe, died 1:17 pm, Sunday, May 1, 2011, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. He was born December 28, 1938 in Norfolk, NB to the late Clifford V. and Darlene Pearce Smith.  He and his wife Linda, who survives, spent almost 52 years together.  Also surviving are his children, Michele (Brad) Conto, of Chillicothe, Michael (Paula) Smith, of San Antonio, TX, and Keely (David) Jividen, Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and 7 grandchildren. Mr. Smith was a US Marine and a retail chemical salesman. A memorial service will be held 1:30 pm Friday at the Haller Funeral Home.
