Also surviving is his mother-in-law, Velma Cyrus, sister-in-law, Joy (Jeff) Blevin, and brother-in-law times 3: in marriage, in Christ, and as a Mason, Ralph (Shirley) Cyrus, of Chillicothe. Dick retired from Mead Corporation in 1992 as a security guard. He had several friends from work that still kept in contact with him including one of his best friends, Glen (Diana) McDonald, who preceded him in death, but was like a brother. He was a 50 year member of Scioto Lodge 6 F & AM; the York and Scottish Rite bodies; the Aladdin Shriners; and the Ross Co. Shrine Club. He has been a member of Brookside Church CCCU from its existence. He loved his church family and looked forward to Sunday and Wednesday services.
