Richard Magill

Richard E. Magill, Sr., 81, of Chillicothe, died at 3:31pm, September 20, 2022, at his residence, following a brief illness.  He died not quite two months after his beloved wife, Faye H. (Jankowski) Magill died.  They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this December.   Surviving are his children: Richard "Rick" (Tina) Magill, of Chillicothe; Mary Magill and her companion Charlie Potts, of Chillicothe; Billy (Sherry) Magill, of Clarksburg; son-in-law Stevie Butcher, of Indiana; grandchildren: Faye (Sam) Fletcher, Abbagail (Keagan) O'Brien, Craig (Kailia) Magill, Victoria (Zach) Cash, Steven (Nikki) Butcher, Rikki Magill and Billy Magill; 9 great-grandchildren; and sisters: Helen Sutherland and Vicky Moss, both of Chillicothe.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his daughter Wendy J. Butcher; sisters Barbara Magill and Shirley Buckner; and brothers June Magill, Billy T. Magill and Mike Magill.   He loved fishing, hunting squirrel and loved sitting on his porch enjoying nature.   At his request, cremation services will be held under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.  Private inurnment will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery.
