Richard Kemper

Richard Mack Kemper, 49, of Chillicothe, passed away at 04:23pm, on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at his home, following an extended illness. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio on December 26, 1966, to David Mack and Elizabeth Mae (Pfeifer) Kemper. In addition to his parents, Richard is survived by three children, Richard "Ricky" Michael Kemper, Joshua Ryan Kemper, and Sierra Rachell Kemper, all of Kingston; two sisters, Loretta Shenberger, and Sandy Bishop, both of Ashland; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Kevin Kemper. Richard was the pastor of the Springbank United Methodist Church. He enjoyed bowling on Wednesday nights, holding bible study groups, fishing, hunting, and playing guitar. His family and friends will remember him as a loving father, friend, and as someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Springbank United Methodist Church with Pastor Martin Denes officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday at Haller Funeral Home.
