Richard E. Frecker, 86, of Columbus, formerly of Zanesville, died 3:00 am, Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, Columbus. He was born November 17, 1930 in Gaylord, MI to the late Frederick E. and Irene K. Freriks Frecker. Survivors include two brothers, Fred (Teresa) Frecker, of Columbus and Msgr. Anthony Frecker, Vinton Co., OH; a niece and three nephews. Richard retired from the Zanesville Mold Co. He was an active 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 505, Zanesville, and had served as Comptroller. He was an avid antique car enthusiast. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 pm Thursday at the Mother Angeline McCrory Manor Chapel, Msgr. Anthony Frecker, Celebrant. Graveside services will be held 3:30 pm in the New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, OH. Friends may call 12:00-1:00 pm Thursday at the Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, 5199 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43223.
