Richard Ferguson

Richard L. "Dick" Ferguson Richard L. "Dick" Ferguson, 65, of Chillicothe, died 5:25 am, Sunday, August 12, 2007, in his home following a six month illness. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 15, 2007, in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Gerhardt Mengers officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Tuesday at Haller's. He was born April 9, 1942 in Hamden, OH to John E. and Silvia I. Brown Ferguson. On June 2, 1962 he married Cecilia Hickey, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Tami (Dennis) Doyle, of Chillicothe and Kelly (Wayne) Swint, of Columbus, OH; a son, Richard (Heidi) Ferguson, of Chillicothe; six grandchildren, Crissie (Josh) Lutz, Amber Doyle, Dustin Doyle, Anthony (Brittany) Swint, and Nicholas and Ryan Ferguson; three great-grandchildren, Ashton, Zayden and Isaiah; a sister, Nancy Jenkins, of Columbus, OH; several nieces and nephews and all of Uncle Pop's Kids. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father. Mr. Ferguson retired as a former corrections officer and from the Nourse Family of Dealerships.
