Richard Duffey

Richard Lawrence Duffey, 82, of Chillicothe, died 10:00 am, Saturday, August 3, 2013, following an extended illness. He was born March 14, 1931 in Chicago, IL to the late Lawrence and Mabel Wilson Duffey. On October 20, 1956 he married Nathalie Danielson, who died October 3, 2012. Survivors include his daughter, Donna Duffey, of Chillicothe; three grandchildren, Colin (Emily) Rose, Heather Rose and Sharon Rose; three great-grandchildren, Trenton, Chloe, and Gibson; and many extended family members in the Chicago area. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ardis Kambach. Mr. Duffey retired from Martin Marietta as an electrical engineer. He served in the US Army Reserves and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed muzzle loading rifles and was a former member of the Muzzle Loading Rifle Association. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 9, 2013, in the Elm Lawn Cemetery, Chicago, IL. Friends may call 5-7 pm Wednesday at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME.
