Rhonda D. Downs, 64, of Chillicothe, died Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born June 12, 1958 in Wellston, OH to Harold (Susann) Cline and Gloria Daft Cline, who survive. Also surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Kimberly Smallridge; a step-daughter, April (CJ) Adams; two grandchildren, Abbi Malone and Erica Shepherd; a great-grandchild, Allen Shepherd; and a sister, Loretta Hansel; a sister-in-law, Pam Longlott. She married John "Jay" R. Downs, who preceded her in death June 24, 2021.
Rhonda worked for the Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center, and was a "Work Camper" for KOA, Kampgrounds of America. She enjoyed cross-stitching. She was a fun loving person who never met a stranger. She loved traveling with her husband from state to state seeing the country in their RV. They worked at the KOA Kampgrounds and met many new friends. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Following cremation, the family will conduct private services, at their convenience. Calling hours will not be observed.
