Rex Douglas

Rex A. Douglas, 62, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly in Blooming Grove, PA, on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. He was born November 4, 1948, in Bellefontaine, OH to the late Melvin A. and Ruth L. (Eubanks) Douglas. On October 28, 1988, he married the former Mary E. Reise, who survives. Also surviving are his daughter Lacey Riley; step-daughter Megan (Garry) Ortiz; step-son Brandon Hyatt; grandson Riyell Riley; a step-grandson Daniel Ortiz; sister-in-law Patricia (Jeff) Dusseau; several nieces and nephews; and several special children in his life: Lilly, Connor, Allyssa, April, Kendall, Frankie and Justin. Rex was employed by Bumpus Trucking, Inc. in Washington Court House as an Over-the-Road Driver for 7 years. He was happiest being surrounded by family and children and was an avid hunter. At his request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service observed. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
