Retha Stitt

Retha M. Stitt, 82, died at 3:27pm Monday, December 22, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born March 30, 1932, in Corbin, KY, to the late Roy and Dona (Poynter) Eagle. On July 25, 1964, she married David R. Stitt, who preceded her in death on July 20, 2014. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Michael (Marta) Stitt, Chillicothe; Jerry (Cari) Stitt, of Valrico, FL; a daughter and son-in-law Lisa (Michael) Nedved, of Grove City, OH; grandchildren: Chelsey and Hanna Stitt; Marisa, Michael, Kattarina and Olivia Nedved; and Emily Stitt; brother Ralph Eagle, of Cincinnati, OH; a sister Georgia Brush, of Lawrenceburg, IN; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Edgar (Carol) Stitt, of Bellevue, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, parents and a sister Ruth Compton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call from 11am until 1pm Saturday at Haller Funeral Home.
