Reggie Cunningham

Regina "Reggie" Cunningham, 57, of Chillicothe, died Thursday January 3, 2008, at the Ohio State University Hospital. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00pm Tuesday January 8, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Knauff officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7pm at Haller Funeral Home. Reggie was born January 26, 1950, in Greenfield, OH, to Robert Scott and Eleanor (Terry) Cunningham, who survive and reside in Leesburg, OH. Also surviving are her son, Christopher Scott Vorhies; grandchildren Chelsey P. Steinbrook and Evan C. Vorhies, all of Chillicothe; brothers and sister-in-law Bruce M. (Twilene) Cunningham, New Vienna, OH; R. Scott Cunningham, Long Beach, CA; sister and brother-in-law Lisa E. (Curtis) Potter, Long Beach, CA; nieces and nephews: Bruce Michael (Keli) Cunningham; Dustin A. Cunningham; Megan M. Cunningham; Tyler A. Potter; Wyatt M. Potter; Samantha J. Whittenburg; and Kecia M. Whittenburg; a great-nephew Kaden C. Cunningham; an uncle and aunt John F. (Sandy) Cunningham; cousins: John (Susan) Cunningham; Connie (Dan) Coates; Stacy (John) Cook; Terry Ongaro; numerous lifelong friends; and her faithful feline companion, "Isis". She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Edward (Margaret) Terry; her paternal grandparents Walter "Butch" (Hazel) Cunningham; and an aunt, Jean (Terry) Ongaro. Reggie was a graduate of Leesburg (Fairfield) High School, Class of 1968. She retired as the Admissions and Registration Coordinator from Ohio University-Chillicothe in 2004 following 34 years of service. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Some of her hobbies included sun bathing at the beach, reading, gardening, and watching the food network. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
