Raymond B. Wyatt, 69, of Chillicothe, died at 1:56pm January 30, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center following an apparent cardiac event.
He was born December 11, 1955, in Kaiserlautern, Germany, to the late Raymond E. and Mary (Gualt) Amsbury Wyatt. On July 4, 1981, he married the former Katheryne J. Boler, who survives.
Also surviving are their children: Larry (Laura) Throckmorton, of Mt. Sterling, OH, Rick Throckmorton, of Chillicothe, Shannon Owens, of Texas, Matt (Dawn) Throckmorton, of Chillicothe; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predceased by his son Kenny Wyatt; and grandson Sterling Smith.
Ray was a US Army Veteran serving from 1974 until 1976. He was a long-haul truck driver and enjoyed his Kenworth tractors. He loved watching NASCAR.
Military graveside inurnment services conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, February 8, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Soldiers Square.
