Raven Martinez

Raven I. (Thornton) Martinez, 35, of Columbus, formerly of Chillicothe, died at 9:54pm Sunday October 7, 2007, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center awaiting a liver transplant. Funeral services will be held at Noon Thursday October 11, 2007, in the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor B. Jay Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home. Raven was born January 5, 1972, in Chillicothe. She was predeceased by her father and mother William R. "Rick" and Kathy I. (Elliott) Thornton. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Cookie (Jorge) Mora, Pickerington, OH; a niece Julia Rose Mora; an expected nephew due in February; Uncle Harry Elliott, Chillicothe; Aunt Dee; Aunt Mary (Butch) Schwamberger; Uncle John (Sharon) Thornton, Jr., and their families; cousins: Michelle (Tony) Branscom; Tyke Elliott; Ashley White and her son Isaac; Amanda Branscom; Adam, Aaron, Austin Elliott, all of Chillicothe; Frankie, P.J., and Crystal; and close family friends: Rose (Doug) Medlin and their children: Katie, Erin, and Joe Medlin. Raven was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1990. She had recently rededicated her life to Christ and had been attending the First Wesleyan Church with her Uncle Harry.
