Randy Alan Manion, 65, of Chillicothe, passed away on July 17, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born February 23, 1949, to the late William Michael Manion and Betty Curtis Manion in Ross County. On January 4, 1986, he was united in marriage to Deborah Murray Manion, who survives. Randy retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in January 2001 and served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1970. In addition to his wife, Randy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Cory Alan (Tonya) Manion, of South Salem; daughters and sons-in-law, Heather (David) Bower, and Farrah (Jay) Davis, both of Chillicothe; seven grandchildren, Chloe, Eli, and Canon Manion, Bailey and Mia Davis, Ryan (Loreley) Bower and Olivia Bower; two great-granddaughters, Aurora and Penelope; a brother, Rick Manion, of Chillicothe; mother-in-law, Darlene Murray, and brother-in-law, Delvin Murray, both of Ray, Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and William Cyrus, Jr. of Chillicothe; two uncles, Reverend Ralph Manion, of Ray, Ohio, and Don (Ruth) Manion of Chillicothe; as well as several nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Connie Butterbaugh and Jeri Renner; two brothers, John and Mike Manion; and his father-in-law, Gerald Murray. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Bennett officiating. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Monday July 21, 2014 from 5:00-7:00pm, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 618, Kingston, Ohio 45644.
