Rev. Randall L. Rinehart, 67, of Chillicothe, passed from his life into eternal life at 6:38pm June 23, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by family. He was born August 4, 1953, in Chillicothe to the late Eldon G. and Gladys N. (Mead) Rinehart. Surviving are his children: Randall R. Rinehart, Chillicothe, Rhonda (Nicklus) Day, Circleville, Holly (Brad) Garrison, Chillicothe, and Heather Howard and her former husband Jason Howard, Chillicothe; Special granddaughter, Linda Sue Rinehart, Chillicothe; 10 grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law Angie (Jeff) Doles, Chillicothe; his aunt and uncle Jeanie and Wayne Rhoads, Washington C.H.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Rob and Rex. Randy was a graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1971. He had studied at the Christian Union Bible College and was a member of the CCCU, South Central District. He called Beulah Chapel and Jefferson Ave. CCCU churches his home. Randy enjoyed helping others and found joy in making others happy around him. His passion for serving the Lord guided him to mentor and pastor at local churches, prisons, and youth church camps. His big personality attracted others around him and he did not know a stranger. He loved gardening and was a man of many trades. He found joy in playing Santa every year for kids. His favorite thing he liked to say to people was, "Always keep your fork, the best is yet to come!" Funeral services will be held at 1pm Tuesday, June 29, at Beulah Chapel, with Pastors Marvin Leffler and Rich Cottrill officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Twin Twp. Cemetery following cremation. Friends may call Monday from 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
