Ralph Simms

Ralph J. Simms Ralph J. Simms, 78, of Pickerington, died 7:40 am November 27, 2005 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN, unexpectedly. He was born December 4, 1926 in Glasgow, WV to Clarence L. and Reva I. Stone Simms. On July 30, 1960 he married Dorothy M. Eroshevich, who survives. Also surviving are his three children, Annette and Sheryl Simms, of Pickerington, and Brent (Diane) Simms, of Galena; three grandsons, Chad, Andy and Danny Simms; a brother, Charles Simms, of Langsville, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Simms was a Marshall University graduate, an Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was a retired mechanical engineer, retiring from North American/Rockwell and Ellanef Manufacturing. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Thursday in the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 550 Hill Road N, Pickerington, OH, Rev. Russell Ham officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Spence's.
