Phyllis L. (Hamilton) Whitten passed away on April 14, 2025, in Chillicothe. She was born in Bainbridge, Ohio on September 24, 1936, to Sara Corns Harley.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter Carrie (Rick) Penrod, her grandchildren Donald (Amy) Penrod, Shane (Katherine) Whitten, Tyler (Shannon) Whitten, Tisha (Roy) Oakes, 14 Great-Grandchildren, Daughter-in-law Melody Whitten, and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sara (Corns) Harley, husband Clark Whitten, Son, Craig Whitten, and brother Ronald Corns.
Phyllis had many artistic talents and enjoyed collecting and travelling.
In keeping with Phyllis wishes, there will be no public services and cremation will take place.
