Phyllis Jones

Phyllis M. Jones Phyllis M. (Spreer) Jones, 79, of Chillicothe, died 9:25 am, Wednesday, July 23, 2008, in Heartland of Chillicothe, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, July 26, 2008 in the Haller Funeral Home, with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at Haller's. She was born December 8, 1928 in West Lafayette, IN to Harry and Ethel Spreer. She married Richard Jones, who died in 1990. Survivors include five sons, Gary W. (Kathy) Spreer, of Indiana, Jack A. (Kathy) Jones, Wilmington, OH, Doug B., Ronald E. and Mark L. Jones, of Chillicothe; a granddaughter, Dyeshe A. Martin, of Chillicothe; 2 great-grandchildren, Kayla and Donya Hughes both of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John Brown and Harry Spreer; and 2 sisters, Mary Brown and Betty Spreer.
