Phillip Hessinger

Phillip L. Hessinger, 41, of Rio Grande, OH, died at 10:34am September 13, 2023, at Doctors West Hospital, Columbus, OH.

Phil is survived by his fiancée Amy Chrisemer and her daughter Kayla Bennett, both of Rio Grande; his mother and step-father Bambi L. (Dains) and Roger Harris, of Thurman, OH; sisters and brother-in-law Erica Hessinger, of Bidwell, and Elizabeth (Jeremy) Riffe, of Thurman, OH; his brother and sister-in-law William (Jessica) Slone, of Sunbury, OH; a special aunt, Linda Austin, of Gallipolis; and his nieces Audrey and Natalie Slone, and Emma and Abigail Riffe.  He was predeceased by his father Gary L. Hessinger; and his maternal grandmother Bonnie Austin.

Phil was a graduate of Gallia Academy and had worked at McDonald's.  He loved his dogs and his family.  Phil remained resilient, despite much adversity in his life, and was a very kind and loving man.  He will be forever missed.

Cremation services are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
