Philip Ray "Phil" Miller, 46, of McArthur, OH unexpectedly passed on July 27, 2025. He was born to Wendell and Doris (Spradlin) Miller on April 17,1979, in Lancaster, OH. On January 8th, 2000, he married his loving wife, Lora (Strausbaugh) Miller, who survives.
Also surviving are children, Christina (Seth) Alvarez, Hope (Ethan) Disbennet, Philip Miller, and Jacob Miller; grandchildren, Isla Alvarez, Leo Alvarez, and Parker Disbennet; two brothers, Joe Miller and Mark Miller; and a sister Angie DeWeese; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.He is preceded in death by his father, Wendell Miller.
Phil was the owner of Heins Jewelers and worked for Flagship for many years. He enjoyed playing pickleball, basketball, softball, and many other sports. He was an Overpower National Champion, which allowed him to travel across the United States for tournaments, with his most recent tournament win being in Seattle, Washington. Phil was a wonderful family man and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 at The Tree Church, 721 N Memorial Dr. Lancaster, OH 43130. Family and friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 12:00pm until the time of service. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 at 3:00pm in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Kingston, OH.
