Peter Land Elliott

Peter Land Elliott, 70, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2026.

Born on March 29, 1956 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, he was the second of four sons of Joseph Albert Elliott and Nancy Jean Land. Peter graduated with a degree in Industrial Technology Engineering from Ohio University. He worked for WearEver-ProctorSilex, Greenfield Research Inc., and went on to become an independent contractor building homes across Ross County. He had a brilliant mind and could find a way to fix anything.

Peter is survived by his wife Jan Elliott, his daughter Alexandria Elliott; his bothers Jospeh (Linda) Elliott of Oregon, Anthony Elliott of Maine, Benjamin (Mary Lee) Elliott of Georgia; his nieces, nephews, and many friends who were like family to him.

Peter is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Nancy Elliott of Maine and Florida.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Peter’s memory to Scioto Valley Habitat for Humanity.
