Perry Hall

Perry R. Hall, 68, of Chillicothe, went home to be with the Lord at 4:45 am, Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born December 9, 1944 in Ross Co. to the late Ralph Hall and Rosetta M. Smith Mickey. As a young child Elvin Mickey entered the lives of the Halls and became Perry's father. On August 27, 1966 he married Sondra K. Richardson, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Richard (Yvonne) Hall, Frankfort, Krista (Jarrod) Howell, Springboro, and Justin (Angela Barker), Clarksburg; grandchildren, Lauren, Brian, Keegan, Cameron, Justin, Jaiden and Whitney; sisters, Janice (Robert) Scott, Springfield, Kyra (Mark) Brown, Chillicothe, Lara Benson, Columbus; brothers, Ralph (Toney) Hall, Chillicothe, Chris (Kathy) Mickey, Washington CH, Elvin A. Mickey Jr., Chillicothe; sister-in-law, Bonnie Nixon; mother-in-law, Grace Richardson; brother-in-law, James (Virginia) Richardson and numerous aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Tanya Cousins; sister-in-law, Judy Cousins; father-in-law; Harry Richardson; and several nephews. Perry retired from Glatfelter Corporation after 46 years of service. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Chillicothe, where he was a member of the Trustee Board and Mass Choir. He was an avid harness racing fan and he loved to attend he grandchildren's sporting events. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Monday at Zion Baptist Church, Rev. J. Troy Gray officiating. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 pm Monday at the church.
