Penny Kingery

Penny Kingery, 49, died in her home at 12:50pm September 18, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 29, 1964, in Ross County to the late Robert "Bud" and Mary Jane (Gire) Bridenbaugh. On May 24, 1986, she married Kevin M. Kingery, who survives. Also surviving are her son Andrew Kingery; daughter Kari Kingery, both of South Salem; brothers and sisters-in-law Terry (Betty) Bridenbaugh, Waverly; Dan (Sharon) Bridenbaugh; Rick Bridenbaugh; and Tony (Tammy) Bridenbaugh, all of Chillicothe; aunts and uncle Elza "June" (Mary) Bridenbaugh; and Dora Mae Johnson; in-laws Kenneth (Mary) Kingery, Jr.; Alice (Leroy) Chaney; Paul Kingery; Libby (Mike) Miller; Darrell Ray (Colleen) Kingery; Larry Kingery; Neil (Carolyn) Kingery; Ronnie Kingery; Bonnie (Dave) Maughmer; Karen (Steve) Tatman; Keith (Susie) Kingery; Mark Kingery; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother-in-law Karl Wayne Kingery. Penny was a member of the Maple Grove Christian Union Church and an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. She was a graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1982 and worked at Herrnstein Hyundai. She dearly loved and was loved by her family and her whole church family. 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." A celebration of her life will be held at 6:00pm Tuesday, September 23, at the Maple Grove Christian Union Church with Pastor Brett Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-6pm Tuesday prior to the service. A reception with food and fellowship will immediately follow the service at the church. Friends in attendance are encouraged to wear their Ohio State apparel in Penny's honor. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Maple Grove Christian Union Church, 1054 Maple Grove Rd., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
