Peggy Roush

Peggy Roush passed away peacefully into the hands of our Lord on January 22, 2025, at the age of 94.  Born November 30, 1930, to Karl and Helen (Swaney) Staat in Chillicothe, OH.  She married Warner "Bud" Roush on November 12, 1948.

They had two daughters, Joyce E (Rev. Bruce) Davis of Conneaut Lake, PA and Karla Earley, of Chillicothe, grandchildren, Jared Davis, and Elaine Davis of Erie, PA, Paula (Kacy) Hamm of Chillicothe, and Jon Earley of Waverly, 3 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.​She is preceded in death by her husband, "Bud", son-in-law Steve Earley, and great-granddaughter Brooke Alyssa Earley.

Peggy graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1948 and worked at Herrnstein's for 19 years and Chillicothe Correctional Institute for 19 years.  She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church, now First Church of Chillicothe.

Special thank you to the staff at Chillicothe Post Acute for the care and compassion shown to our mother.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 12:00 pm at the First Church of Chillicothe followed by burial at Little Mound Cemetery.
