Pearl Phillips

Pearl A. Phillips, 57, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at 2:40pm March 31, 2007, in her home following an extended illness. She was born January 5, 1950, in Red Bluff, CA to Irwin and Mary (Kroll) Arbogast. On July 29, 1978, she married E. J. "Jerry" Phillips, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Heather (Chad) Doughty; her son Zachary Phillips; her granddaughter Cassondra Doughty, all of Chillicothe; her mother, Mary Arbogast, Nyssa, OR; her sisters and brothers-in-law Betty Arbogast, Paso Robles, CA; Mary Arbogast, Albany, CA; Monica (Ed) Burlin, Baltimore, MD; Margie (Henry) Clardy, Arroyo Grande, CA; Linda Claassen, Josette (Harry) Flock, and Roberta (Gary) Hayden, all of Nyssa, OR; Kate (Rick) Otto, La Feria, TX; Dorothy (Mark) Poe, Bakersfield, CA; and a brother and sister-in-law Ed (Nancy) Arbogast, Paso Robles, CA. She was predeceased by her father and a brother-in-law Ray Claassen. Pearl was an active member of Tabernacle Baptist Church with an amazing faith. She was a member of the Gideon Auxiliary for over 20 years, holding most camp positions and the Century Club where she served as treasurer. Pearl worked as a business partner and office manager with her husband at Network Financial Services. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Schmidt officiating. Private committal services will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8pm at the Haller Funeral Home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Life Center Building Fund, 221 E. Main St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
